Day 1: Rishikesh – Urgam Village (240 km drive, 8-9 hrs)

Drive from Rishikesh to Urgam Village via Devprayag, Rudraprayag & Joshimath.
Overnight stay in a guesthouse at Urgam.

Day 2: Urgam Village – Kalpeshwar – Drive to Sagar Village (3 km trek + 50 km drive)

Morning visit to Kalpeshwar Temple (trek ~3 km).
Drive to Sagar Village, the starting point for the Rudranath Trek.
Stay in a guesthouse.

Day 3: Sagar Village – Panar Bugyal (10 km trek, 6-7 hrs)

Trek through dense forests & meadows to reach Panar Bugyal.
Enjoy stunning Himalayan views & overnight camping.

Day 4: Panar Bugyal – Rudranath – Return to Panar Bugyal (14 km trek, 7-8 hrs)

Early morning trek to Rudranath Temple (7 km).

Day 5: Panar Bugyal – Sagar Village (10 km trek, 5-6 hrs)

Descend back to Sagar Village through forests & scenic trails.

Day 6: Sagar Village – Rishikesh (230 km drive, 8-9 hrs)

Drive back to Rishikesh, marking the end of the trek.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (250 km from Sagar Village). From there, take a taxi or bus to Rishikesh and onwards to the trek’s starting point.

Via Train

The closest railway station is Haridwar (230 km from Sagar Village), well-connected to major Indian cities. From Haridwar, taxis and buses are available.

Via Road

Rishikesh is well-connected to Delhi, Dehradun, and Haridwar via NH-7. From Rishikesh, one can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Urgam Village or Sagar Village, the trek’s starting points.
