Day 1: Pick-Up from Kathgodam – Drive to Munsiyari (280 km)

Morning Pick-Up: We’ll start early in the morning from Kathgodam or a pre-discussed location. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the Kumaon region, passing through picturesque towns and villages.

Break at Kainchi Dham: We’ll take a short break at Kainchi Dham, a famous spiritual site surrounded by serene hills. Route: The journey will take you via AlmoraDhaulcheenaSeraghatBerinag, and finally, Munsiyari. Enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayas along the way.

Arrival in Munsiyari: After a 9-10 hour drive, you’ll arrive in Munsiyari by evening. Check into your hotel or homestay and relax after a long day on the road.

Overnight Stay: Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/homestay in Munsiyari.

Day 2 : Munsiyari to Khaliya Top – 20-min Drive + 5 km Trek

Morning Drive to Eco Park: After breakfast, a short 20-minute drive will take you to Eco Park, where the Khaliya Top trek begins.

Trek to Khaliya Top Campsite: The trek from Eco Park to Khaliya Top is about 5 km and takes 4-5 hours. As you ascend, enjoy the captivating views of the Panchachuli peaks and the surrounding valleys.

Evening at Campsite: Once you reach the Khaliya Top campsite, you’ll be rewarded with magnificent Himalayan views. Dinner will be served at the campsite, and you can enjoy a peaceful night under the stars.

Overnight Stay: Stay in tents at the Khaliya Top campsite, with the towering Panchachuli peaks as your backdrop.

Day 3: Trek to Zero Point for Sunrise – 1 km Trek + Descent to Eco Park

  • Sunrise at Zero Point: Early in the morning, trek 1 km to Khaliya Top Zero Point to witness an unforgettable sunrise over the Himalayan ranges, including Nanda DeviPanchachuli, and Rajrambha peaks.
  • Breakfast and Descent: Return to the campsite for breakfast, then begin your 5 km descent trek back to Eco Park. The descent is quicker, taking about 2-3 hours.
  • Drive Back to Munsiyari: Your vehicle will be waiting at Eco Park to take you back to your hotel or homestay in Munsiyari.
  • Afternoon Exploration: After lunch, you’ll have the afternoon free to explore Munsiyari. Take a walk through the local market, visit the Nanda Devi Temple, and immerse yourself in the town’s rich culture.
  • Overnight Stay: Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel/homestay in Munsiyari.

Day 4: Munsiyari to Birthi Waterfall – Drive to Kathgodam (250 km)

Morning Departure: After breakfast, we’ll start the return journey from Munsiyari. On the way, we’ll take a short break to visit the scenic Birthi Waterfall.

Route via Bageshwar: We’ll follow the route through Bageshwar, continuing our scenic drive through the hills and valleys of Uttarakhand.

Arrival in Kathgodam: We aim to reach Kathgodam by approximately 6:30 PM, marking the end of your memorable Khaliya Top Trek adventure.
