Day 1: Haridwar to Sagar Village (336 km Drive)

  • Start your journey early in the morning from Rishikesh.
  • The drive will take approximately 8-9 hours.
  • Upon reaching Sagar Village, settle into your
  • accommodation and rest after the long journey.
  • Overnight stay in Sagar Village.

Day 2: Sagar Village to Lwiti Bugyal (11-12 km Trek)

  • After an early breakfast, begin your trek towards Lwiti Bugyal.
  • The trek will take you through picturesque landscapes and lush green meadows.
  • Arrive at Lwiti Bugyal and settle in your camps (on a Sharing Basis).
  • Spend the evening relaxing at the bugyal, taking in the Stunning views.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Lwiti Bugyal campsite (Shepherd Style).

Day 3: Lwiti Bugyal to Rudranath Temple (8 km Trek)

  • Today’s trek takes you closer to your main destination, Rudranath Temple.
  • Begin the trek after breakfast, following the well-defined trail.
  • Reach Rudranath Temple and explore the temple premises and the beautiful surroundings.
  • Seek blessings at the temple and spend some time in quiet reflection.
  • Overnight stay in camps near Rudranath Temple (On a Sharing Basis).

Day 4: Rudranath to Sagar Village (20 km Trek downhill)

  • Wake up early to witness the sunrise and the serene atmosphere around Rudranath Temple.
  • After breakfast, start your trek back to Sagar Village. The return journey will be relatively easier as you descend.
  • Reach Sagar Village by late afternoon or evening.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Sagar Village.

Day 5: Sagar Village to Haridwar (336 km Drive)

  • This day marks the end of your trekking adventure.
  • After breakfast, bid farewell to Sagar Village and start your drive back to Haridwar.
  • The journey will take approximately 8-9 hours.
  • Arrive in Haridwar by late afternoon or evening.
  • End your trip with wonderful memories of your trek to Rudranath.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (approx. 290 km). From there, you can take a taxi to Sagar Village via Rishikesh.

The nearest railway station is Haridwar (336 km from Sagar Village). You can take a taxi or bus to reach Gopeshwar and then Sagar Village.

Via Road

Sagar Village is well connected via roads. You can take a bus or taxi from Rishikesh, Haridwar, or Dehradun to Gopeshwar, then another local transport to Sagar.
