Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nainital

Arrive in Nainital and check into the hotel. Visit the famous Naini Lake for boating. Explore Mall Road for shopping and enjoy local delicacies. Later, take a cable car ride to Snow View Point to enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan range.
Overnight Stay: Nainital.

Day 2: Nainital – Almora

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Almora (about 2.5 hours). Enroute, visit the ancient temple of Nanda Devi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and then visit the Almora Bazaar and the Kasar Devi Temple. Enjoy the serene surroundings and evening views of the Himalayas.
Overnight Stay: Almora.

Day 3: Almora – Ranikhet

After breakfast, check out from Almora and head towards Ranikhet (about 2 hours). Visit the beautiful Jhula Devi Temple and the Kalika Temple. Take a leisurely walk through the lush pine forests and enjoy the views of the snow-capped peaks. Explore Ranikhet’s peaceful atmosphere and local attractions.
Overnight Stay: Ranikhet.

Day 4: Ranikhet – Kausani

After breakfast, drive to Kausani (about 2.5 hours). Check into the hotel and visit the famous Anasakti Ashram, which Mahatma Gandhi once visited. Enjoy the stunning views of the Panchachuli peaks and take a nature walk. Later, explore the local tea gardens and the Baijnath Temple.
Overnight Stay: Kausani.

Day 5: Kausani – Mukteshwar

After breakfast, drive towards Mukteshwar (about 3 hours). Visit the Mukteshwar Temple and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding hills. Spend time exploring the quaint town and its beautiful landscapes. Enjoy the serenity and tranquility Mukteshwar has to offer.
Overnight Stay: Mukteshwar.

Day 6: Mukteshwar – Nainital

After breakfast, drive back to Nainital (about 2 hours). Visit the Naina Devi Temple and enjoy the picturesque views of Naini Lake. Explore the surrounding areas and take a stroll on the Mall Road for shopping and local cuisine.
Overnight Stay: Nainital.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to your destination or to Kathgodam Railway Station for onward journey.
End of the Tour.

  • Meals: Comprehensive meal plan, including Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks, Tea/Coffee, and Dinner during the tour.
  • Camping Equipment (if applicable): Includes tents, sleeping mattresses, kitchen tents, dining tents, and toilet tents.
  • Expert Assistance: Services of experienced Hindi/English-speaking guides, drivers, and support staff.
  • Safety Gear (if applicable): Essential trekking or adventure equipment for a safe journey.
Staff Insurance: Insurance coverage for the Uttarakhand Tour Travels team members accompanying the group.
Exclusion
  • Personal insurance and any medical expenses.
  • Personal toiletry items and personal hygiene products.
  • Individual medicine kits or prescription medications.
  • Meals during transit to and from the starting point.
  • Charges for mules/porters carrying extra luggage (Rs. 300 per bag, payable to UTT personnel at the base camp).
  • Any expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances such as weather delays or natural calamities.
  • Entry fees for monuments, temples, or other tourist sites are not included in the package.
  • Personal expenses such as tips, phone calls, laundry, and beverages.
  • Additional activities or services are not mentioned in the itinerary.

How to Reach

Nainital is well-connected by road to Delhi, Dehradun, and other major cities in Uttarakhand. Buses and taxis are readily available.

The nearest airport is Pantnagar (Nainital) at a distance of about 65 km. You can also fly into Dehradun (200 km) and drive to Nainital.

Kathgodam Railway Station (35 km from Nainital) is the nearest railway station. It is well connected to major cities like Delhi, Lucknow, and Kolkata.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For the cancellation of tour services due to any avoidable or unavoidable reasons, we must be notified in writing.

CANCELLATION CHARGES PER PERSON:

  • 30 days or more before the departure date: 25% of the total cost.
  • 20 days before the departure date: 50% of the total cost.
  • Less than 20 days before the departure date: 100% of the total cost.
  • Cancellation less than 10 days before the start of the tour: You may transfer your booking (same tour, same batch) to a friend. No cash refund will be provided.

IF WE CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR TOUR
We strive to plan your travel arrangements well in advance. However, there may be occasions when we need to make changes, and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If changes occur, we will notify you as soon as possible.

In rare cases where we must cancel your tour due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., adverse weather, insufficient bookings), we will:

  1. Offer alternative dates for the tour, provided the tour has not already started.
  2. If the alternative arrangement does not suit you, we will issue a full refund.

Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated in such situations.

PAYMENT POLICY

  • 46 days or more before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost.
  • 31–45 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost.
  • 30 days or less before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost.

Important: The booking is subject to cancellation if full payment is not received at least 30 days before the date of departure.

Terms & Condition
  • All bookings are subject to availability. In case of non-availability, arrangements will be made at a similar property of equivalent standards.
  • Meals provided during the trip will include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options based on prior requests.
  • Rates are subject to change until the booking is confirmed.
  • Prices may vary during peak seasons such as festivals, public holidays, and long weekends.
  • An additional charge of 15% of the total tariff will apply for one child aged 5 to 12 years.
  • Any special requests, including dietary preferences or room amenities, must be communicated in advance and are subject to feasibility.
  • Cancellation and refund policies will be applicable as per company guidelines.

NOTE: Written cancellation will be accepted on working days (only). Any cancellation sent on a Sunday or any National Holiday(s), will be considered on the next official working day. In the event of any cancellation(s) after trip commencement, there will be no refunds and any costs incurred due to this cancellation will be borne by you. Irrespective of when a trip is booked, the above condition will hold.

  • Stay with the Group: Avoid straying from the group, as it ensures safety and minimizes the chance of getting lost.
  • Avoid Intoxication: Alcohol or any other intoxicating substances are STRICTLY PROHIBITED during the tour.
  • Follow Instructions: Always adhere to the advice and directions of tour guides or instructors for a smooth and safe experience.
  • Keep the Environment Clean: Avoid littering and dispose of waste in designated areas to maintain the beauty of tourist spots.
  • Avoid Night Travel: Traveling or trekking at night is risky and should be avoided unless specifically planned by the tour guide.
  • Be Cautious with Devices: Avoid using earphones during tours, as it may distract you from important announcements or surroundings.
  • Respect Local Sentiments: Do not harm, mock, or disturb the cultural and religious values of the area you’re visiting.
  • Be Prepared: Carry necessary items such as water, snacks, and emergency supplies while ensuring your luggage is lightweight.
  • Health and Safety: Inform the tour organizer of medical conditions, and always carry personal medication.
